C贸rdoba, Argentina, 1974. The "Navarrazo" (Argentine Revolution) took place in the capital of C贸rdoba: Police Chief Antonio Navarro seized the Government House and deposed Governor Obreg贸n Cano. A year later, in May 1975, under the intervention of Brigadier Ra煤l Lacabanne, 26 political prisoners belonging to different revolutionary organizations escaped from the "Buen Pastor" women's prison (now a shopping mall). This escape marked one of the many milestones of the turbulent C贸rdoba of the 1970s. The women (who had been tortured in prison) thus regained their freedom and returned to the struggle, although nine of them were disappeared by the military dictatorship. The documentary features testimonies from ten of those women.
