Richard Bacon
Richard Paul Bacon is an English television and radio presenter. He was a host of the children's show Blue Peterāhis first high-profile media roleāuntil he was fired in 1998 after 18 months for admitting to taking cocaine. He has since worked as a reporter or presenter on numerous television shows, including The Big Breakfast, and on radio stations including Capital FM, Xfm London and BBC Radio Five Live. In 2016 Bacon became the presenter of The National Geographic Channel's reboot of its documentary/panel discussion TV series, Explorer.
