Yoni Rechter
Yonatan (Yoni) Rechter was born in聽Tel Aviv,聽Israel. He is the son of Israeli architect聽Ya'akov Rechter聽and stepson of Israeli actress聽Hanna Meron.[1]聽He attended Tichon Hadash high school. At sixteen, he composed the music for the hit song "Tears of Angels" (讚诪注讜转 砖诇 诪诇讗讻讬诐, "Dma'ot Shel Mal'achim"), written by his high school classmate聽Dan Minster.[2] Rechter served in the聽Israeli Artillery Corps聽band. In 1972, after his release from the army he joined the Israeli band聽Kaveret聽as a keyboardist, collaborating withGidi Gov,聽Danny Sanderson,聽Alon Ole'archick聽and others.[3]聽He stayed with the group until it disbanded in 1976. Rechter is married to Dafna, a former art teacher, with whom he has two sons.
