Grant Major
Grant MajorĀ (born 1955) is aĀ production designer from New Zealand who is most famous for his work onĀ The Lord of the RingsĀ films. He won theĀ Academy Award for Best Art DirectionĀ forĀ The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Major's early exposure to production design began when he joined an art school inĀ AucklandĀ after graduating. Following this, he got a job as an assistant set designer at the local television station.
