Chris Butler
Chris ButlerĀ (born 12 February 1974) is an English animator, writer and director known for his works atĀ Laika, such asĀ ParaNormanĀ andĀ Missing Link, which were both nominated for theĀ Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
He studied animation at theĀ University for the Creative ArtsĀ in South England and is an alumnus ofĀ Hugh Baird CollegeĀ in Merseyside.
On 1 May 2024, it was confirmed that Butler would write the screenplay for the upcoming live-actionĀ Masters of the UniverseĀ film, which is due for release on 5 June 2026.
