Jeong Da-hee
Jeong Dahee is a Korean animation director based in Seoul. She was educated at Hongik University in Seoul and got a BA in Communication Design. Went to Paris and got a Masterâs in Animation at the ENSAD. Her first film, Man on the Chair (2014), was presented at the Directors' Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival, won the Cristal Grand Prix at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The Empty (2016) won the Grand Prix at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival and was screened at over 100 film festivals around the world. She was invited to the animation residency at Fontevraud Abbey, France in 2013 and in 2017, also invited to the mentoring residency at the CinĂ©mathĂšque quĂ©bĂ©coise, Canada in 2017. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2018.
