Dana Bramane
In 2002 Dana Bramane won the AlÄ«da VÄne International Vocal Competition, and has taken part in several other competitions, including the 2008 s'Hertogenbosch IVC. While still a student at the Jazepa Vitola Latvian Academy of Music, she performed Tatyana (Eugene Onegin).
In September 2008 Dana Bramane made her debut with Latvian National Opera as Micaƫla (Carmen), and also performed Pamina (Die Zauberflƶte) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) at Latvian National Opera.
She is the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2009 Competition finalist.
Dana Bramane sung the role of Micaƫla (Bizet's Carmen) at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus, and the role of donna Elvira (Mozart's Don Giovanni) at the 20th Bydgoszcz Opera Festival.
