Mats Eklund

Mats Holger Eklund, born June 1, 1955, in Malmö, is a Swedish actor and voice actor.

Eklund studied at the State Stage School in Malmö 1977-80 and then worked at Malmö City Theater 1981-1994 with its Unga Teatern and in the regular ensemble in roles such as Jeff in "En doft av honung", Snow White in "Klassfiende", Mick Slugger in the wrestling play "Trafford Tanzi - den flygande snaran" (also on SVT in 1984), Cornwall in "King Lear", Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and outstanding contributions in "Möss och människor", "Don Juan" and "Gustav III". In the TV series" Skånska mord" he played the prominent role as Per in "Bessingemordet" (1986). He has also worked at, among others, Teater 23, Fria Teatern, and Radioteatern.
