Seán Leahy
Seán Leahy is an award-nominated Irish director whose films have been showcased at festivals like Fastnet Film Festival and IndieCork.
A Student Academy Member of IFTA’s Directing Chapter, he blends academic insight with hands-on filmmaking while pursuing a Film & Screen Media degree at UCC. His short An Unnerving Realisation premiered at Fastnet 2023 and screened at IndieCork 2024, while The Marina earned a nomination for Best Student Work at the 2024 People’s Picturehouse Awards. Passionate about grassroots filmmaking, Seán is also an active figure in Cork’s film community.
