Emanuel KrĂĽger

Emanuel KrĂĽger is a German journalist, former television actor, and underground filmmaker. He began his career in journalism during his school years, writing for the student newspaper. While studying at the University of Siegen, he contributed as a freelance writer to a local newspaper and later attended the Deutsche Journalisten Akademie. His early media experience includes presenting and reporting for regional radio stations.

KrĂĽger currently works as an independent journalist, with a strong focus on investigative reporting, in-depth interviews, undercover research, and video documentaries. His approach often blends critical inquiry with social engagement.

Between 2016 and 2019, KrĂĽger appeared in various German television formats, primarily produced by the Cologne-based company filmpool. Following his time on screen, he briefly pursued independent filmmaking as a director before returning fully to journalism.

On a personal level, Krüger has openly spoken about his struggles with depression, which led him to undergo inpatient treatment. His experiences have motivated him to advocate for mental health awareness and the destigmatization of psychological conditions. Known for his distinctive appearance, he is also a dedicated tattoo enthusiast—most notably, his left facial side is tattooed with a skull design.
