Jann Arden
Jann Arden is a Canadian singer songwriter, broadcaster and author. She played supporting and guest roles in many television series', while starring as a fictionalized version of herself on a quest for renewed fame in CTV's comedy series Jann. Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Jann catapulted onto the Canadian music scene in 1993, with the release of her debut album Time For Mercy, which featured the hit single, āI Would Die For Youā. This was followed by Living Under June, which contained her break-out hit āInsensitiveā.
With a career that spans 12 albums and 19 top ten singles, Ardenās contributions to the Canadian music industry has been recognized with 8 Juno Awards, 10 SOCAN Awards, 4 Western Canadian Music Awards, a Much Music Video Award, 3 Prairie Music Awards and an Alberta Recording Industry Association Award. She has been inducted into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, has been given the Vantage Women of Originality Award, awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal, was inducted into the Western Canadian Music Alliance Hall of Fame and Canadaās Walk of Fame.
