Evan Hunter
Evan Hunter (né Salvatore Albert Lombino; known as Ed McBain until 1952) was an American author and screenwriter. He also used the pen names John Abbott, Curt Cannon, Hunt Collins, Ezra Hannon, and Richard Marsten, amongst others. He is best known for writing the screenplay for THE BIRDS (1963) dir. Alfred Hitchcock.
